The Unicorns Podcast: Resouro outlines development pathway for globally significant Tiros project

In this episode, Justin speaks with Resouro Strategic Metals (ASX:RAU) CEO Christopher Eager to unpack the company’s recently released Preliminary Economic Assessment, or PEA, on its flagship Tiros project in Brazil.

Eager explains how the study demonstrates compelling economics that confirms Tiros as a globally significant rare earths and titanium project at a time of escalating demand for those critical minerals.

Tiros currently hosts a 1.4 billion tonne resource, and the PEA outlines an initial 20-year mine life. But the development plan focuses on high-grade mineralisation within only a small portion of Tiros’s vast resource.

Eager will discuss the significant scope for future resource growth at Tiros and the next steps on the path to development, including further drilling and optimising the flowsheet, which is based on convention processing.

Resouro also intends to assess staged expansion opportunities beyond the initial 500,000 tonne per annum initial operation in the mining friendly state of Minas Gerais.
